Bottom Bracket Compatibility Guide

Match your frame standard with your crankset spindle diameter to find the right bottom bracket.

Crankset Spindle Standard

El primer paso es identificar el diámetro del eje de tus bielas. Los dos estándares más comunes en el mercado actual son Shimano (24mm) y SRAM DUB (28.99mm).

Shimano

Shimano Hollowtech II (24mm)

The industry standard for Shimano cranks and many third-party options. Features a straight 24mm steel spindle.

SRAM

SRAM DUB (28.99mm)

SRAM's unified spindle standard designed to work across all major frame shells while improving durability over 30mm systems.

2Frame Bottom Bracket Shell

BSA (English Threaded)

The most common and reliable threaded standard. Shell width is 68mm (road) or 73mm (MTB) with a 34.8mm inner diameter.

BB86 / BB92 (PressFit)

Shimano's PressFit standard. Shell width is 86.5mm (road) or 89.5/92mm (MTB) with a 41mm inner diameter.

PF30 (PressFit 30)

A larger PressFit standard. Shell width is 68mm (road) or 73mm (MTB) with a 46mm inner diameter.

T47 (Threaded)

A modern threaded standard combining the reliability of BSA with the dimensions of PF30. Shell width variants include 68mm, 85.5mm, etc.

Frequently Asked Questions

Encuentra respuestas rápidas a las dudas más comunes de otros ciclistas sobre nuestros rodamientos.

How long do CERAMIKO bearings last?

In typical cycling conditions, our bearings last 4× longer than comparable steel bearings — often 10,000–20,000 km of use.

Do I need special tools to install them?

No. All CERAMIKO bearings are drop-in replacements. Standard bearing press and cups are all you need.

Are ceramic bearings worth it for amateur cyclists?

Absolutely. The smoother rolling feel is immediately obvious, and the reduced maintenance alone makes the upgrade worthwhile.

Which bottom bracket do I need?

It depends on your frame's bottom bracket shell (e.g., BSA, BB86, T47) and your crankset spindle diameter (e.g., Shimano 24mm, SRAM DUB 28.99mm). Check our Compatibility Guide for details.
